From Chef Fernando; "From the age of 15, my career spans over 30 happy years in the hospitality industry. I fell in love with culinary arts, working casually as a line cook at first, then climbing my way to the top rung of the Corporate Food Service Ladder, of very fine cooking. As a graduate from the Florida Culinary Arts, I have worked in various hotels, private golf and country clubs and started the successful venture of "All Season Catering." Going from Hotel Executive Chef to now restaurant owner, I have seen all aspects of guest service. The Guest Service Industry at its very finest. 

While working as a Senior Line Cook at Frenchman's Creek Golf and Country Club, I fell in with Anya, my soulmate, business partner, wife and the mother of my children, (and not necessarily in that order), who I love very dearly!  As our relationship grew, we knew that our dreams had come to fruition together, as we were both on the same culinary page from day one, sort of to speak.  My wife Anya, a graduate of a very fine Hotel and Restaurant Management School in Germany, became my perfect match. With the same goals in mind.  From that point forward, we instantly knew that with hard work and dedication we can make this food venture dream a reality for many years to come to support our loving family. Therefore, we opened Hobo's Gourmet Kitchen in 2000 and successfully watched our business grow. 

We're truly a family-run and operated restaurant in North Palm Beach for the last 23 years and counting. Besides breakfast and lunch, we provide catering services for any occasion; from small business meetings and functions to baby showers, birthday parties, barbecues, and weddings, to mention just a few.
